forests

the Stream the River
flowing with Beauty and Peace
Bends chiseled by Clocks
where the Fawn would Play
where the Indian Boy would Drink
where the Willow would Rest
giving Life to the Land
Sustaining the Universe

the Bridge to cross the Obstacle
cement Pillars for Support
now Avoided like an Ant pile
Glass and Cans and
Manufactured Waste
as a Monument Commemorating
the Technological Advantages
brought by the Modernization of Society
