I found this Rose
while wandering
through the garden
as the sun rose
this morning
I picked it
for You
so I could again
see your
precious smile
I placed it
in an antique vase
so it would
be fresh when
I gave it
to You
and now your
glittering eyes and
lingering touch and
soft sigh of thanks
have lifted my heart
with the joy of Love
