looking for you

I came looking for you today
at the old house where you used to live
with the empty driveway
and the shuttered windows

I drove through the streets
through the alleys
through the rain
all the places where we had been

maybe you were hiding
playing one of our old games
maybe you were following me
watching me looking for you

after all these years
and all we've been through
I still find myself
yearning for you

each morning   i come in peace   with one final kiss   looking for you   castle in the mist   Bakery Square   dreaming of you   airport   black and white   It must have been a dozen years since we last spoke.   Trudging down the street.   one more day   my guitar hands   what a night.   Why did they need both the Atlantic and the Pacific?   as this morning's light   the king
